Consumer Reports, which is unfortunately a very respected and highly read and exposed piece of literature here in the US for its supposedly unbiased reviews of consumer products, has published what I consider a totally biased report on what they call the dangers of supplements. I found out about this report through a very important and invaluable newsletter that I get from ANH-USA (Alliance for Natural Health http://www.anh-usa.org/).
The report is absolutely full of innuendos and unproven data about supplements being unsafe. It fails to report how dangerous prescription drugs are. Does anyone remember how dangerously addictive pain medications are these days and how many people are dying of overdoses? How about how toxic many drugs are to the human body?
Please visit the link to anh-usa.org. It has an important link to fill out a form to send to Consumer Reports asking them nicely to have a bit more of an open mind and not to have such a hidden agenda when it comes to supplements and natural health. It seems clear that they have some sort of interest in promoting the pharmaceutical and western medicine agenda.
